Article Writing Tips - How to Get Positive Response From Your Readers

You would want these people to read your articles until the end and respond positively to your call to action. You can make these all happen if you follow these tips when writing your articles:

Conduct surveys. The first step to take is to choose the topics of your articles. To ensure that you pick the best ones, I would recommend that you get the pulse of your target audience by conducting surveys. Through this, you will know their specific needs and demands. Based on experience, these people will surely love it if you talk about their problems, the things that they find extremely interesting, their burning questions, and their goals. Just ensure that you talk about those that are closely related to the type of business that you're running.

Use extremely catchy titles. Give it your very best shot when writing the titles for your articles to enjoy enormous open rate. Ensure that they accurately summarize your content and that they're benefit-driven. Tell your readers what's in it for them. Whenever possible, make your titles enticing and thought-provoking.

On your first paragraph, tell your readers what your content is all about. Hook your readers by simply giving them very clear idea as to what is in store for them. If you intend to offer them with solutions to their problems or tools that can help them reach their goals, make sure to tell them that. The idea here is to get them to want to read your articles until the end.

Offer useful information. Always remind yourself that the only reason why people online read articles is because they would like to get informed. So, offer them with as much information as possible. Anticipate all the questions that they might have and provide the best answers. Or discuss the problems that they're going through and help them find the best remedies. Giving out useful, expert information will not only help in making your articles more valuable to the eyes of your readers but this will also help in establishing your expertise in your niche. This is the key to earn the trust and respect of your potential buyers.

Keep it short. Lengthy articles are big turn-offs to online users. This is because reading something from their computer monitors can be painful on the eyes. Plus the fact that these people have very short attention span. So, make it a habit to tell these people the information they need without using fillers. Keep your articles as short and as tight as possible. Just get straight to the point and help these people save some of their precious time.

About the Author

I'm confused on this literature question-it is very important?

The question is about Sanndburg's short story "Chicago", but you don't have to read the story to help! The question is:
To which of these lines of "Chicago" would a reader respond with
1)a sense of hearing?
2) a sense of touch?

a)"I have seen your painted women under the gas lamps"
b)"Flinging magnetic curses amid the toil of piling job on job"
c)"here is a tall bald slugger set vivid against the little soft cities"
d)under his wrist is the pulse, and under his ribs the heart of people"

Any help would be greatly appreciated, would be very grateful if you also explained why!

sense of hearing ....b and d. b, because you can almost hear "flinging"....curses, like you are swearing at someone. d, because the pulse is a steady beat you can hear if you listen closely enough.

a and c for a sense of touch. painted women...think of a woman putting on her makeup, her blush and foundation, and the sense of being outside. and c, you can imagine what a bald head feels like...also "soft" is key.

that might be a long shot, but without reading the poem, it's all i've got.
